This superb 9 hole downland-links course with 18 tees offers all golfers and visitors a warm welcome. Set within the South Downs National Park, the course is a great test of golf and offers magnificent views over the South Downs, the sea and the City of Brighton and Hove. The chalky soil and the maturity of the greens and fairways, continually worked and developed by our wonderful team of greenkeepers, ensure that the course always plays beautifully, whatever the time of year.

Brighton & Hove Golf Course: Course Open Summer Tees. Please Repair Pitch Marks and Divots.
Brighton & Hove Golf Club is a great place to be a member. It is easy to meet people to play golf with and for those of you who enjoy competitive golf there are a number of competitions each week, most of them open to both men and women, with the Ladies’, Seniors’ and Saturday morning Untouchables’ society also running their own series of competitions.
Nine holes and 18 tees: you’re guaranteed a different experience on the front and back 9s. Men play from the white tees on the front 9 and black tees on the back 9, while women play from the reds on the front and blues on the back.
The first five holes follow the top of Round Hill with beautiful views over the surrounding South Downs National Park, down to the sea and the city of Brighton and Hove. No matter whether Lady Luck has handed you a sunny, grey or blustery day, it’s an amazing place to spend some quality time hitting the little white ball.
Founded in 1887, Brighton & Hove is known for its excellent greens and superb condition all year round. This Links-Downland course is open for play even through extreme winters, thanks to the naturally draining chalk soil of the South Downs.
You will love the great views from the course and clubhouse: the city of Brighton and Hove, the sea, the surrounding South Downs National Park and even the Isle of Wight on a clear day.
